Will an mri of the brain and iac without contrast show my sinuses? my ent ordered this exam due to severe nasal congestion and facial pressure.

Yes: Paranasal sinuses are usually also seen on MRI of brain. Osseous structures are usually less well seen and better defined on CT. MRI is so sensitive for soft tissue changes that sometimes patient is not symptomatic.
