Would a brain mri or ct scan cover sinuses? would it detect nasal cancer or sinus cancer? was not taken for problem related to sinus but wondering if radiologist would take images of this or interperet?

Sinus films: Best imaging for sinuses and nasal areas is by far the CAT scan. Nasal and sinus cancers would be extremely unusual at age 20.

Hi doctors. I had an MRI of the brain which noted complete opacification of left frontal sinus. My ENT wants me to have a CT scan of the sinuses, no contrast--could you please tell me what the Dr is concerned about and what the Dr may be looking for?
