Hi doctors. i had an mri of the brain which noted complete opacification of left frontal sinus. my ent wants me to have a ct scan of the sinuses, no contrast--could you please tell me what the dr is concerned about and what the dr may be looking for?

The CT scan is necessary to carefully evaluate the bony anatomy, to rule out some forms of tumorAnd possibly to assess the best surgical approach. I would proceed with the CT scan as planned. It is probably a chronic fluid collection that needs to be appropriately drained.
