Diagnosed with contact dermatitis, prescribed prednisone. my body is red & warm to touch. the back of my knees have turned dark. is this normal?

No: High dose of prednisone may causing flushing but I don't understand why the back of your knees have turned dark unless there is a staph infection which people with AD are more prone to get. If you had scratched and bruised the area, then darkening can be expected.
