Needs further eval: A temperature of 99.5 is not a fever. Adults are not considered febrile until the temperature is over 100 (101 for children). Rapid heart beat and enlarged lymph nodes are each signs/symptoms that require further investigation. Although enlarged lymph nodes are seen in cancer, they usually continue growing and spreading. Stable lymph nodes are often infection or conditions like sarcoidosis.
