Pain control: If tylenol (acetaminophen) is not cutting it, you may want to see a rheumatologist to figure out the pain and its cause and give you proper treatment that will not affect the kidneys.

Acetaminophen : In general non steroidal anti inflamatories are nephrotoxic drugs, for that reason Acetaminophen is a better option to treat pain as this medication is metabolized through the liver and not through the kidneys.
