Sugar too high.: Based on that, I can tell you that your average blood sugar is too high. We'd like to see if in the 90-135 range, preferably closer to the 90 side. Perhaps a higher dose of Metformin will help. It's important as the combination of diabetes and high blood pressure is quite vasculopathic.

Need endocrinologist: B"sd metformin is the drug of choice for type 2 diabetes - Beyond modest control of blood sugar, it seems to improve longevity! GI side effects may limit therapy, but ~90% of patients can eventually take it. the first step would be to optimize the dose usually to 2000 mg/day - extended release formulation is usually best and taken in the PM to best suppress excess liver glucose production
