can you get a synvisc (hylan g-f 20) injection and cortisone injection in the same knee during the same appointment?

No: Insurance will not approve it. If you have a lot of pain I would typically do a steroid injection first and then follow it up with viscosupplementation 2 weeks later. If pain is mild I would go straight to the viscosupplementation (Synvisc).
