A member asked:

My husband has been experiencing occasional sleep paralysis. we've read that it's normal but it freaks him out. what can cause it & how to prevent?

No real answer yet: You may have tried this site, http://www.thesleepparalysisproject.org/about-sleep-paralysis/treatment/...and I'll be interested to see if anyone is really good on the subject. As you've already found, the general idea is caused by imbalance in sleep structure, and prevented by improving that structure. Lots of sleep meds disrupt normal sleep, and would probably change things.
