Swollen front gum. dentist said to floss to cure. when i use flosser, it bleeds. how do i floss without "over flossing" and irritating it more?

Flossing technique: need to wrap your floss around your teeth when you are inserting the floss under the gum. Should review flossing technique with dental hygienist. in general flossing should not hurt if it is done properly.

Simple snap of floss: Don't be aggressive, use a "glide" floss & then simply snap the floss through the contact (in & out). Keep at it & things WILL get better:)
