Colonoscopy: it is normal to have irregular bowel movements for several weeks after a colonoscopy. There is no need to take laxatives in this setting. Your best bet is to eat lots of healthy fruits and vegetables and cereals containing fiber, along with more fluid intake, and let your body reestablish your normal bowel patterns. Good luck.
