How long after root canal will i have major pain? i read that i can still have lots of pain after, so thinking i should just have it pulled. confused.

Varies : Root canal post operative pain can vary widely. Most of my patients have little or no pain under they bite down on the tooth for the 1st few days. However if he tooh has a virulent infection or difficult anatomy it can be one of the teeth you've heard about. If the tooth has good bone support and the decay is not to close to bone it is usually better to save tooth.
