1/4/16ankle tendonitis. still suffering slight swelling at ankle and ache. recheck on 2/17. what can be done? cortisone shot?what about the swelling?

Options: Tendinitis can take time to calm down. Soft tissue conditions respond well to rest and anti inflammatory medications. Sometimes immobilization in a boot is indicated. A cortisone injection is an option, but should be done cautiously.
