The treatments: available are MANY now for this form of cancer...depends upon CELL TYPE and LOCATION outeide the lungs (if that is the case) SURGERY (Including MICROSOPIC surgery), RADIATION and CHEMOTHERAPY are available Make sure you are seeing a BOARD CERTIFIED ONCOLOGIST preferably at a TEACHING HOSPITAL! Depends what stage: Treatments consist of radiation, chemotherapy and surgery depending on what stage Can have combination of all three Also the cell type of the cancer
