It's possible: It is possible that one of the vital organs you mention would need to be removed due to a cancer. If the cancer is localized to the organ, and not spread to other parts of the body, then a transplant may be feasible. A good example is hepatocellular carcinoma of the liver, often accompanied by chronic hepatitis.
