Lots: Extremely important to rule out heart if significant risk factors. A stress test may be better then an ekg. However, reflux, esophageal spasm, musculoskeletal, pulmonary (lung) are all potential causes. See your doctor.

Normal EKG : If you have chest pains with a normal ekg then the cause of the pain may not be your heart. Other things such as muscles, gi, or breathing can cause chest pains and are evaluated differently.
