Universal treatment: Treating The symptoms will help you which ever one it is. You need to take oral decongestant like Sudafed or phenylephrine which is found in many medications like Coricidin D. If you feel it might be allergy you could use an allergy medication like Zyrtec. A saline nasal spray would make the nose feel better. If it is a cold it will clear soon if allergy it may stay around until allergen is gone.
