Why are whole grains recommended on an anti-inflammatory diet when they have been scientifically proven to be pro-inflammatory?

Not pro-inflammatory: I question your assertion that whole grains are proven to be pro-inflammatory. This idea is popular with advocates of the paleo diet but, like many things, the science is NOT that clear. Please see http://tinyurl.com/p8268fu Research shows whole grains in moderation can reduce inflammation by stabilizing blood sugar. Of course those with gluten sensitivity should only eat gluten-free grains.
