Rectal bleeding?: if you have had a negative stool for blood while you're having the black flakes in your stool, then it is unlikely that this is a sign of internal bleeding. Usually when bleeding happens like that, the entire stool turns black and fowl-smelling. If that occurs, you should get it retested. Good luck.
