Metastatic cancer: it is difficult to estimate how long one should expect to survive with metastatic cancer. Many factors influence this, such as the type and extent of the tumor and the patient's underlying medical health, and there are many new treatments which can extend life with metastatic bowel cancer. Best bet is to discuss this with his oncologist. Stay strong.
