Common side effect: Delayed ejaculation is a common side effect of antidepressant medications that act on the serotonin system (Paxil being one of the most likely to cause this). Options may be to lower the dose, change to a different ssri (Prozac, Zoloft, lexapro, celexa), add either Wellbutrin (may be more likely to worsen anxiety) or buspar to help this side effect, or potentially change to the newer viibryd (vilazodone hydrochloride)
