A member asked:

I have simple partial seizures once a month or so. i've had one grand mal in '08, taking 150mg lamictal since. should i worry about them?

Good control: One complex partial seizure monthly is indicative of excellent control, but often the patient may not be fully aware of additional seizures at nite or when alone. To be secure, check your Lamictal level, and perhaps update an eeg. You would do best taking Lamictal twice daily, as you might eliminate all events. Do not drive, operate power equipment, do activities at heights until 100%.
