Nutrient deficiency: This may be partially genetic but even so optimal nutrition should help. Make sure you are taking a well-absorbed zinc supplement such as zinc picolinate 30 mg/day as well as other trace minerals. Take Vitamin C (1000 mg 2x/day) and eat colorful fruits for flavonoids. Horsetail root for silica may help. You might also be hypothyroid so see a nutrition-oriented doc to evaluate for that.
