Yes can get: But the answer will be same , couple of decades ago tonsillectomy is the procedure of choice , no longer is ,with better antibiotics and concepts. Just because enlarged don't have to be removed in the absence of symptoms , besides risk due to procedure they also play a important roll in immunity .
