pain on left side of throat. ent said he did not see much when he looked. i think i have canker sore under the tonsil.is this normal to get one there?

Left sided throat : You may also have allergies and sleep on your left side. The left side will be irritated if you are draining all night long and sleeping on that side. Try gargling with warm salt water 1-3 tsp salt to one quart of water. Gargle 3 to 5 times a day. You can also try chloroseptic spray over the counter for the pain. See your doc if this does not work. Good luck. Feel better
