What is,the best way to protect my stomach when taking ibuprofen? i have to take 600 mg t.i.d. for 7days. i don't want to get an ulcer.

Omeprazole: Proton pump inhibitor drugs like omeprazole (prilosec) can protect your stomach from ulcers. However if you are only taking it for a week your chances of getting an ulcer are small. Usually ulcers develop in people taking anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen for extended periods of time.
