I'm just wondering, if you took 1200mg of ibuprofen a day, how long would it take to form a stomach ulcer?

It depends: This is impossible to answer. For some people, never. For others, GI irritations occurs soon after the Ibuprofen is started. You should take a ppi (prilosec, prevacid, (lansoprazole) and others) as this will significantly reduce GI risk.
