What are the symptoms of an infected vein?

Symptoms: heat, pain, redness, swelling and fever- for starters.

Infected veins: The symptoms of an infected vein would be pain or tenderness along the veins and the signs of an infected vein would be swelling, redness, drainage from the vein or even pus around the vein. Often times fever would also be present. If there is any question of a vein infection, you should see a physician.
