See below: Visit your father frequently and ask to speak to the nursing staff and/or physicians in charge if you have any concern about the treatment being given. The staff will be more attentive when they know a family member is actively involved in your fathers care. Ask if the center has a Patient Advocate you can speak with. Each state also has a Long-Term Care Ombudsman to investigate complaints.
