It happens sometimes: Many women have an embryo that does not successfully implant, or an embryo or baby fetus who does not successfully grow. It's part of normal life. If there are repeated miscarriages, or other problems arise, one's Ob-Gyn doctor can further evaluate. In a single case, it's unlikely that knowing exactly when conception occurred matters much.
