I have osteoarthritis, naproxen 1/2 (500mg) twice a day 4 joint pain, pain getting stronger have an appt. on 2/12/16 with rheumatologist what to do?

Naproxen: If you have no side effects from the current dose,I recommend doubling the dose of naproxen as long as you take it with food. You could also add Tylenol (acetaminophen) until you see the specialist who will be able to either confirm the diagnosis of osteoarthritis, or order other testing to determine the exact type of arthritis you have as different medication may be needed as you ma have another type of arthriti
