Yes, but.....: You need to find ways to get yourself the extra iron you need. You have to eat a LIT of dark green leafy veggies such as spinach and greens to make up for the iron you're not getting from meats. You may need to consider adding a vitamin WITH IRON to your diet. Have your physician check your hemoglobin or ferritin at least yearly.
