Are you depressed?: If you are depressed or dysthymic, having thoughts that you recognize aren't the kind you should be having, and it is preventing you from getting up and doing the things you need to be doing, then you need to address the real causes, which are probably life experiences and patterns of thinking. You know deep inside this is the truth. A vegan / cult diet, while morally excellent, isn't your answer.

Why sulking?: What are you sulking about? Are you feeling offended by someone, or is life simply not going your way? A vegan diet isn't likely to cure boredom, anger, or depression -- you need to look at what's evoking your feelings instead, and do something about them. If it means talking with someone you're having difficulty with, please do so. If this is ongoing, you can see your physician for a checkup.

Yes: There are many ex-vegans on the web who didn't feel good on their vegan diet, felt depressed, and then felt better resuming a normal diet. Some of them were not eating a balanced vegan diet and were not getting enough protein, iron, Vitamin B12 and B6 and Omega 3 fatty acids. A balanced vegan diet will avoid these deficiencies except for B12 which needs supplementation. see: http://bit.ly/1ctNyCy
