Several options!: First, you are getting this answer from a physician who was a competitive weightifter. And you are assuming your pain was caused by weightlifting. If so, you need to take Naproxen or alternative at full strength, and consider getting voltaren (diclofenac) patches to place directly on the affected area. You should see a doctor if this doesn't work. Weightlifting is a great sporting activity!
