No/ helps: Hernia does not shrink but there is less pressure so hernia will improve due to reduced bulk pressing on it.

No: A hernia is essentially a hole in your abdominal wall musculature. Therefore once it is present there is nothing you can do to make the hole shrink or disappear on its own. Surgical repair is required.
