Activity: Your activity level has changed. You spent more time at home. When you regain strength and add exercises and diet restrictions your weight will stabilize and may go done. Ask you surgeon if he can prescribe physical therapy and also see your primary care md to rule out others causes of weight gain.

Plz C Ur Doctor: It is not uncommon to gain a few pounds secondary to decreased activity. However, a 50# weight gain in less-than 2 months reflects a physiologic problem that requires evaluation by a primary care physician.
