Hmmm....: Zinnat is cefuroxime, a common antibiotic used to treat infections. Haven't heard of cefuroxime worsening a person's anemia, except for rare cases of hemolytic anemia or aplastic anemia that can happen from rare reactions to certain drugs. Of course, there are many causes of anemia, and no mention of the cause is in this question. Best to ask her primary doctor.
