Not likely a risk: The list of antibiotics to avoid in patients with G6PD deficiency include nitrofurans, sulfonamides and quinones (and chloramphenicol). Some of these are considered to be safe at usual doses for class II and III disease. Cephalosporins should not contribute to hemolysis.
