It depends: The nodule you describe has benign characteristics and is likely a colloid (benign) nod. You said it grew from 2009, but when was the last US & by how much. Were the US's done by the same group, were the images or only reports compared? Are TFTs nl. f it got significantly bigger a repeat biopsy is likely in order. If growth is rapid, it causes sx's or bothers you surgery is a reasonable option.
