I have gastritis, that's it. nothing else wrong with me. aciphex (rabeprazole) relieves reflux well but gastrtitis never heals. even with carafate/others. suggest?

Find the cause: The cause of your reflux is not being addressed by your treatment, which suppresses the symptoms. Talk with you doctor about other diagnostic options (such as upper endoscopy) or if you could be evaluated for a surgical procedure that might help.

4 years ago reflux started and lead to non h-pylori gastritis. Quit smoking, I'm not overweight, and quit drinking. Chronic gerd persists. Take 20mg aciphex daily. I reflux drinking water. Anything else I can add medication wise to help avoid cancer
