I had rabies vaccination and the injection site is red and swells. this has been a week now. is this normal? how long should it usually go down?

This should be: checked by a doctor. Some pain and swelling and slight redness at the site is not uncommon, but these symptoms for one week could signify infection, which would need treatment.
