Not helpful: The platelet count is up a bit,(non-specific stress effect?)MCH down a bit, without the full CBC and a chance to examine the kid, little can be determined. These don't add up to anything specific.

Sounds reassuring: Everything test wise sounds reassuring- rashes can be caused by a lot of different things including allergy, irritation and rashes. Without seeing the rash or knowing more about it in general it is hard to say what it is but the fact that there is no true fever ( over 100.4) that is again reassuring
