I wouldn't think: the chances are high...those ulcerated lesions are very commonly present in herpes. Balanitis is swelling and inflammation of the foreskin. It's main cause is suboptimal hygiene in the uncircumcised. Symptoms will usually resolve when you rinse (unscented) soap completely off the penis. Low dose OTC topical steroid or anti fungal cream may help. Rarely are other antibiotics needed. USE CONDOMS!
