Maybe: Amblyopia is triggered when the brain decides to reduce/eliminate input from an eye that is weaker or giving double vision.Like turning off a camera. If the weaker eye can be brought to accurate vision, or the double vision eliminated by patching or surgery, amblyopia can sometimes improve. If it has gone on too long, it may not. Most at 7 can gain improvement.

If 20/20 vision is achieved in the amblyopic eye, does it mean that the amblyopia is resolved? Will the vision still be blurry?

Yes: 20/20 vision and amblyopia are mutually exclusive terms. It is possible to have 20/20 vision in both eyes and not have a normal binocular interaction, i.e. lack of stereo vision or even strabismus (crossed or divergent).
