Followup needed: A Lisch nodule is a pigmented hamartomatous nodular aggregate of dendritic melanocytes affecting the iris. Regular visits: Sorry to learn about your son's condition. Does he have Neurofibromatosis Type 1? That would account for his seizures and his eye finding. He needs to be seen by an ophthalmologist and a neurologist on a regular basis to detect any more problems from his underlying condition. They probably meant nothing to do to cure him, but you can treat him for the symptoms that come up, and keep loving him.
