Sensitivity to cold: is not a reported side effect for the anti-psychotic drugs I reviewed. Typical side effects include blurred vision, dry mouth, drowsiness, muscle spasms or tremors and weight gain. The most common medical cause of cold sensitivity is hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid gland). I would have that checked. Good wishes:)

Not likely: If anything, antipsychotics may cause heat sensitivity due to decreased sweating from antihistamine like side effect. Agree with colleagues who suggest checking out other reasons for cold sensitivity, eg, hormonal. Also important if whole body gets cold or just extremities. Discuss with prescribing doctor or your pcp. I hope this helps. Best wishes.
