After stopping antipsychotic medication, how long does it take to stop feeling the effects of antipsychotics like abilify and risperdal on an elderly person who has been taking them for over a year?

It depends on many factors like the person’s ability to metabolize the medicine. In the elderly, it often takes longer to clear the medicine so the effect can last longer.
