I am curious if eating less fat reduces weight then does less cholestrol also reduce weight?

No: There is very little cholesterol in foods, mostly in egg yolks, shrimp and meats. If you just reduce eating cholesterol it wont help, but it often goes along with high calorie items such as fried shrimp or prime rib.
