It's your life: High cholesterol is largely genetic. If eating sensibly and exercising seriously hasn't brought it down to a healthy level, then you owe it to yourself to get on medication. If it has to be "natural", there's some red yeast that contains natural lovastatin. I suspect you're smart enough to realize that today's science -- which has prolonged our healthy life-spans greatly -- has much to offer.
