what could cause hydronephrosis of 1 kidney without stones or uti, rbcs 0-5 in urinalysis. hx of gi issues, gastric ulcers, chronic gastritis?

You: could very well have a "stricture" of the ureter leading from that kidney and emptying in your bladder. Peritoneal fibrosis is another condition which can cause obstructive uropathy..(Overuse of certain pain medications have been implicated) Hope this helps! Dr Z

See a urologist: It is more likely to be a stone than an infection. If you can see visual blood and clots when urinating, you need to see a urologist.
